Trainings and certifications

AVIX is providing a variation of online and on-site trainings, our main focus is effective use of our solutions. Whether a person is involved in selling, deploying or operating a laser system, everyone has to follow specific courses to ensure this person possesses the knowledge and capabilities to guarantee high performance of bird deterrent lasers in accordance with the laser safety regulations. Participants who have successfully met the certification requirements can download an official digital certificate.

Most of our trainings are provided online via our AVIX Academy. The AVIX Academy is an online training platform which contains training materials, quizzes and exams. The AVIX Academy also keeps track of the validity of certificates and reminds trainees when they are expiring.

AVIX certifications

AVIX Laser Operator

Whoever is operating a laser system should have knowledge of the potential risks and safety measurements that should be taken in account. The Laser Operator training provides this knowledge. After signing up at AVIX Academy you can follow the training online, this training is provided for all users of our bird control lasers. The Basic Laser Safety training has been developed in cooperation with the leading Laser Protection Adviser (LPA) in the UK and the Radiation and Nuclear Safety authority of Finland.

Completed the online Basic Laser Safety and the online exam

Refresher requirements: Basic Laser Safety (training: online. exam: online)

Validity of certification: 12 months

Continuing education credits

In order to receive 4 CPD points for the UK, you have to send a copy of the certificate to Basis Prompt to confirm your completion.

AVIX Service Provider

Installation, configuration and maintenance are critical to a systems long term performance. The AVIX Service Provider training teaches how to install and configure an Autonomic laser in any environment to ensure maximum bird repelling capabilities under the condition of appropriate use according to the laser safety directive. This training is available online and provided for installers and technical personnel, the training includes knowledge for usage of the AVIX Connect tool.

Completed training how to install and program an Autonomic (training: offline. exam: offline)

An AVIX Solution Adviser knows how to solve large scale bird problems and uses our technology as a feasible solution within the local limitations. This training is available online and provided for sales and account management personnel, the training provides knowledge on bird behavior, how to sell the Autonomic and effective bird repelling.
